What is TextoPint??

TextoPint is a service that allows you to buy your friends, family or colleagues a drink online. After your payment is made online, your Guest will receive an SMS that contains a unique code. On presenting this code at any FrogPub your Guest can receive the drink that you have bought for them.

How do I TextoPint?

  • Step 1: Visit the Virtual FrogPub and select your drinks
  • Step 2: Login, or create your TextoPint account
  • Step 3: Enter the name and cell phone number of your friend, colleague or family member that you are buying the drink for, and confirm the details. You can also write them a personal message. (These details will be kept strictly confidential by FrogPubs, and will only be used to send the SMS containing the unique code).
  • Step 4: Pay for the drink, with our secure payment gateway. You will receive a receipt for your payment by email, and your guests will receive an SMS with a code that allows them to enjoy their drink at any FrogPub. It’s that simple!

What can I TextoPint?

With TextoPint you can buy a pint or a jug of FrogPubs micro-brewed beer, a cocktail, a bottle of wine, or a bottle of champagne. Not sure if your Guest prefers lager or stout? Not a problem – they select the type of beer, cocktail or wine they would like when they redeem their drink.

How does my Guest receive their drink?

Immediately after your online payment has been confirmed, your Guest will receive an SMS containing your personal message and a unique code. All they need to do is simply present this code to the barman at any FrogPub, and he or she will receive the drink that you have bought for them! The code can be redeemed up to 1 month after your purchase.

Are there any extra charges?

No! All you pay for is the price of the drink; we cover all other costs, including the cost of dispatching the SMS.

What is the time delay between the moment I pay for the drink, and the moment My Guest can receive their drink?

The systems that process your order are designed to work immediately. Once your payment has gone through online, the SMS is instantly triggered to be sent to your Guest’s phone. The only possible delay that could incur is the time it takes for the SMS to be received, yet this should not be more than a few minutes.

My Guest has deleted the SMS

Your Guest is responsible for keeping the SMS containing the TextoPint code safe, in order to redeem their drink. If the SMS is deleted you can email textopint@frogpubs.com to discuss the situation, but unfortunately we can not promise a refund.
